Do you need to buy Gemini separately?
No. Gemini is included with Google Workspace Business plans. Business Starter (RM350.40 per user a year) gets Gemini in Gmail, the Gemini app and Gemini Notebook, with lower limits. Business Standard (RM700.80) and Business Plus (RM1,100.40) add Gemini in Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Chat and Meet, with higher limits.
Gemini works inside the apps your team already uses. It drafts emails in Gmail, writes first drafts in Docs, builds formulas in Sheets and takes notes in Google Meet. Office Niaga is an authorised Google Workspace reseller, so you get Gemini with your Workspace plan, billed in Ringgit with a Malaysian tax invoice.

A note on Malay. Help me write in Gmail and Take notes with Gemini in Meet do not support Malay yet. Google added Malay to the main Gemini features in Docs in July 2026. If your team works mostly in Malay, try Gemini in Docs first and check everything it writes.
Not sure which plan fits? Business Starter covers email help and the Gemini app. If your team writes documents, works in spreadsheets or wants meeting notes, Business Standard is the plan that has them. One account runs one Business plan, so choose it for the whole team.
Is our company data safe?
When staff use Gemini with their work account, Google treats prompts and answers as your company's data, under the same agreement as your Gmail and Drive. Google's Generative AI in Google Workspace Privacy Hub sets out these commitments:
- No model training. Your prompts, files, emails and Gemini's answers are not reviewed by people or used to train Google's AI models outside your organisation without your permission.
- It stays in your organisation. Gemini does not share your prompts or its answers with other users or other organisations.
- It follows your permissions. Gemini only reads emails, files and chats the signed-in person can already open, and each person's Gemini chats are private to them.
- Admins keep control. Your admin can turn the Gemini app and Gemini Notebook on or off for everyone or one department, choose which apps Gemini may search, and decide how long Gemini chats are kept.
One thing to tell your staff: a personal Gmail account follows Google's consumer terms, where chats may be reviewed by people. Company information belongs in the work account. The full detail is in our guide, how Gemini handles your company data.
