Is a reseller transfer the same as a data migration?

No. A transfer only changes who bills and supports you. Your users, mailboxes, files, calendars, domain and settings stay exactly as they are. If you still use another email system, see our migrate to Google Workspace guide instead.

Will my email go down during the transfer?

No. There is no downtime and no re-sync. Mail keeps flowing while the subscription moves to Web Impian in the background.

Do I keep control of my admin console?

Yes. You stay the owner and Super Admin of your Google Workspace. The transfer moves billing to us; it does not hand over your account.

Will I pay more after I switch?

No. You pay Google's list price for the subscription, billed in Ringgit Malaysia, with a one-off RM100 setup fee and 8% SST added at checkout. Ask us for a written quote first so you can compare. Request a quote or read our pricing page .

How long does a reseller transfer take?

Your part takes about 5 minutes in the Google Admin console. You make a transfer authorization, and we complete the transfer within its 30 days. We confirm when billing has moved to us.

Switch Google Workspace Reseller in Malaysia

Many Malaysian businesses already run Google Workspace. Some bought it straight from Google. Some bought it from another reseller. You can move that same subscription to Web Impian at any time. This is a reseller transfer. It is not a migration.

Web Impian is an Authorised Google Workspace Reseller. We bill in Ringgit Malaysia, issue a proper tax invoice with SST, and support you in Bahasa Melayu and English. When you switch, only two things change: who bills you and who supports you.

A transfer is not a migration

This point matters, so we make it clear. A transfer moves your billing account to a new reseller. Your Google Workspace stays the same. Nothing moves and nothing is deleted.

Your users and mailboxes stay in place.
Your emails, files, Drive, contacts and calendars stay in place.
Your domain and DNS stay the same.
Your admin settings, groups and licences stay the same.

If you still use another email system, such as an old cPanel host, Microsoft, or SmarterMail, and you want to move to Google Workspace, that is a different job. Read our migrate to Google Workspace guide for that. This page is only for accounts that already run Google Workspace.

In short. A migration moves your data to Google Workspace. A transfer keeps your Google Workspace and only changes who bills and supports you.

How a reseller transfer works

Google has a built-in transfer process. You start it in your Google Admin console, and it takes about 5 minutes. We send you our reseller ID first, then you follow these 4 steps.

Choose how to transfer page with Transfer to reseller.webimpian.com selected — **3. Choose Google Workspace.** Select **Transfer to reseller.webimpian.com**. Keep other products, such as Android Enterprise, with Google unless we say otherwise.

The transfer authorization proves that you, the domain owner, approve the change. No one can move your subscription without it. It expires after 30 days, and Google permits a maximum of 5 transfers a year. If you paid in advance, you lose the rest of that period, so transfer near the end of your payment term.
