Gemini in Docs comes with Education Plus, the Teaching and Learning add-on, and the Google AI Pro for Education add-on. Education Fundamentals and Education Standard do not include it, but every Education plan has the Gemini app and Gemini Notebook.

2Does Google use my prompts to train its AI?

No. With a work or school account on a qualifying Workspace plan, Google does not use your prompts, files or Gemini answers to train its AI models outside your organisation. Gemini does not share your prompts or its answers with other users. A personal Gmail account follows different (consumer) terms, so use your school account.

3Does Gemini in Docs work in Malay?

Yes. In July 2026 Google added Malay, Mandarin and other languages to the main Gemini features in Docs. Some newer features can start in English first.
